Weird interview process, sometimes it's just a casual phone call. They ask the same basic questions every time. Most of the time, the job is already taken and they're just interviewing to satisfy HR. So, if you haven't been privately told the job is yours before the interview, don't get your hopes too high.

So first there was this phone screen. After we chatted and they asked a few questions, the HR manager set up an in-person interview at the plant. They booked my flight pretty quick and I was on my way. The manager who would be my boss showed me around the plant. The next day, I had the actual interview with HR and some other folks from upper management.
