First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tyson Foods.
Intern
The interview was easy and lasted about 45-50 minutes. They delayed the results because I had another offer. I contacted HR about the results since it was the last day to accept the existing offer. Finally, the HR called and said I was placed for Tyson foods, but I had to reject the existing offer. I rejected it, and then they didn't send an offer letter, saying there were no vacancies for my role. This shows poor decision-making, and they seem to be hiring interns blindly. The HR also mentioned that even if I perform well during the internship, there's no guarantee of a full-time offer, as it depends on the situation, so there's no job security.
- Can you give an introduction?
- Could you ask some questions based on my resume?
- Do you have any DBMS questions?
Intern
Had a Zoom call with 6 team members and HR. It was pretty easy and straightforward. The teams were nice so there wasn't any tension in the room and they asked questions related to the role and behavioral based questions.
- Why are you a good fit for this job?
- Which Tyson products do you know?
- How do you handle conflict?
Intern
I applied for the intern position through Indeed.com when I was a sophomore in college. Shortly after applying, I received a phone call from the company for an interview. Although I did not get the internship, the interview process itself was not too difficult.
