We had 2 technical rounds then 1 behavioral round. The first technical round had one 45-60 minute interview. The second technical round consisted of 2 interviews back-to-back. The behavioral round had 3 interviews back-to-back. All the technical interviews were Leetcode style questions and were conducted by engineers or engineering managers.

Technical Behavioral
It was a long and drawn-out interview process. It started with an online technical interview. Then there was a one-hour technical interview, followed by two more one-hour technical interviews back-to-back. I got perfect scores on all four technical interviews. After that, there were 3 behavioral interviews in a row. I did okay on these, but the behavioral questions felt like they were more about personal communication skills than technical ones. Then I got a letter from HR saying I'd have to wait a couple weeks for the next step. By this time, I had other offers from top companies with deadlines, so I couldn't wait around for Two Sigma's long process and risk missing out on those. Their process is just too drawn out, and I bet they lose out on good candidates because of it.

The process involved an online assessment followed by a 4-round virtual onsite. These rounds included 3 coding interviews and 1 design interview. After that, there was a team match stage, which also covered behavioral questions. Finally, there was a meeting with the director, which was essentially a skip-level manager conversation. I got matched with 3 teams and one manager was very keen, but the last discussion with the director didn't go well. The recruiter wouldn't give any feedback. The whole thing took about two months. It's pretty frustrating to go through such a long process without any feedback. I'd only suggest applying if you're really set on getting hired here. It's hard to tell what the hiring standard is, and clearly, the final decision-maker can just reject you.
