First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK.
Customer Service Representative
So I had my first interview with the General Manager over the phone, it was pretty short, about 20 mins, and they asked the usual stuff like how I handle customers and my 5 year plan. The next day, I got a call to come in for an in-person interview the day after that. This one was with the store manager and the person I'd be replacing, and it went for about an hour. They had a list and read the questions, but it felt pretty chill and conversational. It was all pretty straightforward questions, nothing too surprising. They wrote down everything I said word-for-word, so there were some quiet moments that made it drag a bit. Right after that, they called and offered me the job the same day. The whole thing from start to finish took about 3 days.
- Considering Two Men and a Truck's policy to promote from within and reward long-term employees, why should you be hired over an existing employee who already knows the business?
Customer Service Representative
The interview process was very straightforward and professional. They really took the time to discuss my past experience in related fields. They were looking for someone with experience and a friendly demeanor. Key skills they emphasized were the ability to upsell services, keep customers engaged, and maintain a personable and professional attitude.
- If you had to pick a shape to represent yourself, would it be a circle, square, or triangle?
Customer Service Representative
They asked me basic questions for a customer service job. The interviewer spent a lot of time talking about himself and even paused the interview to ask someone else a question he wasn't sure about, which was a bit strange since he was the one interviewing me.
- Can you tell me about your sales experience?
