The interview process was fairly long and consisted of an online application, an online assessment, a video interview with hiring manager, and then another video interview with someone who opened the conversation with 'after this call we'll never see each other again'. Had a sense of self importance about them and just seemed to want to try and trip you up at every opportunity.
- Do you enjoy managing people?

First, there's a screener with dashboard simulations to see if you're a good fit. These simulations aren't super role-specific, but they check how you'd fit into the company. If you pass that, you go through 'the gauntlet' - a bunch of hour-long interviews, some with your potential team, others with outsiders for 'culture fit'. These all focus on their leadership principles. Each person asks questions that need you to have like 20-30 experience examples ready. You have to share a lot about yourself, and details really matter. If you don't get past this panel stage, you probably won't get much feedback on why. I got a quick phone call that was basically just a rejection email, with no details after about a week of waiting. It was a pretty cool brain workout, took about 7+ hours, and made me think harder for future interviews. On to the next!
- Tell me about a time you encountered a difficult situation and how you dealt with it.
- Describe a time when you had to interact with a challenging stakeholder. What was the context and what was the result?
- Tell me about a time when you had to convince someone to agree with your perspective.

I applied on their website, and a recruiter reached out via email about a week later. We set up a phone interview, and by the end of that call, the recruiter said they wanted me to meet the Hiring Manager. I scheduled a Google Meet with the Hiring Manager (who was in NY) and we had a good conversation. Two days after that, I found out I didn't get the role. Overall, it was a good interview experience. The recruiter and Hiring Manager were both really nice and kept me updated on the next steps. Unfortunately, I wasn't selected this time, but maybe in the future.
- Can you share an example of an advertisement you encountered on Twitch that stood out to you?
- Describe a campaign you've managed that you're particularly proud of.
