So first I had a chat with the recruiter, then a 50 min call with the Hiring Manager. After that I was invited to a virtual on-site which was basically 5 interviews all in one day with some key team members. The hiring manager interview was mostly about my PM knowledge and how I'd take an idea from start to finish. The on-site interviews were more behavioral, asking for examples of when I've done X, Y, Z to see how I align with their core values. It was a really good experience and I hope to join the team someday.

I applied online on Twitch's Career website. A recruiter got in touch about 10 days later and scheduled a quick, formal phone screen with screening questions. Then, I had a call with the Hiring Manager the same week, focusing on my past experience and job requirements, not really specific questions. I heard back the same day about an onsite interview. Another recruiter then handled travel and logistics and set up an 'interview prep' call. This prep call was a bit of a joke, the recruiter had bad audio and gave pointers about stakeholder management, which didn't really align with the actual onsite. Twitch's travel arrangements were great though. On the day of the interview, I arrived 20 minutes early. My recruiter didn't show up, and it turned out she was out of office, so the HM had to get me. The first interview was via video conference, 12 minutes late. It was good, with time for my questions. The second interview started 10 minutes late with a case study about goals and KPIs, where my suggestions about revenue and usability were dismissed. This lasted 20-25 minutes, followed by two quick STAR questions with no follow-up. I didn't have time for questions and felt I wouldn't get the job. Interview #3 was with the HM, on time, covering past experience and behavioral questions. I was told Interviewer #5 was unavailable. Interview #4 with the Engineering Manager was on time, mixing past experience and STAR questions. Interview #5, a PM, showed up late and unprepared, asked random questions for 15 minutes, and mentioned he wouldn't have a say in the decision. Overall, except for Interviewer #2, the others were okay. I'm a female, and the panel was all male. No office tour was offered as there was no recruiter to meet me.
