Twitch Marketing Manager Interview Questions
& Process

It was a long interview process, lasting a few weeks. My process had about 5-6 stages, including technical case studies. The final round was nearly a full day with 5-6 people. You should be ready to show a wide range of knowledge.

The first interview is about 45 minutes with a team member doing similar work. The second interview is about 45 minutes with the European director. If you pass the first two steps, you are invited to a third interview which is split into 6 interviews of 45 minutes each with a panel of 6 directors.

I applied online and heard from the head of the department who I spoke with on the phone. The next day, a recruiter contacted me for a screening chat, which I found confusing since I'd already spoken to the manager. This call went well, and then I was given a significant assignment: to develop pitch ideas for three different clients, two of whom seemed like actual potential clients. I wasn't paid for this work. I dedicated a lot of time to this assignment with a 48-hour deadline. After submitting it, I was asked to provide my availability for an all-day panel interview, which was the final stage. I submitted my availability and prepared to take time off work. Two weeks later, after following up with multiple people, I finally received a response stating they had found someone further along in the process. Although working at Twitch seemed like a dream, the poor communication, lack of accountability, and disregard for my time and effort make me okay with not getting the job.
