First, there was a quick chat with HR. Then, a 30-minute call with the hiring manager. After that, a case study was given, which was kind of intense but took only a few hours. Finally, there was a group interview. I decided to back out after seeing SF and realizing I didn't want to live there.

The interview process was frustrating and disorganized, lasting nearly three months. The initial HR screening was positive, and HR was helpful and responsive throughout. However, the experience with the hiring manager was disappointing as he came across as arrogant and dismissive, showing little regard for a respectful dialogue. He also seemed unclear about what he was looking for in a candidate, which added to the confusion and frustration. The steps included multiple rounds: screening with HR, a call with the hiring manager, a take-home assessment with a follow-up discussion, and two final interviews with other direct managers. The overall timeline was long and drawn out, leaving a negative impression of the company's hiring practices and leadership.

The process was really bad. First, they missed our scheduled interview. After I followed up, they apologized and said they skipped it but could reschedule. I agreed, and we had the interview. Since I was working full-time, it was difficult to take 30-minute breaks for these meetings. They said they'd update me on my status within a week. I had to follow up a few more times over the next two weeks, and they ignored me until I got an automated rejection email.
