First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Twist Bioscience.
Manufacturing Associate
I interviewed here 5 years ago. The process was pretty brutal, especially since it was for an entry-level position. It was a back-to-back panel interview with at least 6 different interviewers. One of them was really rude to me. I ended up getting rejected, but I would have taken the job if I had gotten it. I wonder how it is now.
- Can you tell me about your resume?
Manufacturing Associate
The whole process takes about two weeks to get the final answer. They're not super quick with email replies, so it might take a bit for them to process your application further after the phone interview. You might want to wait a week or two before sending a follow-up email if you have any questions.
- Why are you interested in joining Twist Bioscience?
Manufacturing Associate
The interview process started with a phone call from HR, then a Zoom meeting with the hiring manager. They gave me the offer details over the phone casually in less than a day. A major problem was confusing timelines about deadlines, like mentioning holiday deadlines that didn't match the paperwork. The 'end of day' timing was also unclear. Looking back, the management seems disorganized, and I should have paid attention to the Glassdoor reviews about it. Glad I got a better offer elsewhere.
- Could you list the equipment you've used in a lab?
- How would you describe your work style?
