They got straight to the point with questions and it was nice that they were welcoming and went over the entire role and what might come with the role so you understand what your getting into.

It was super simple. They mostly wanted to know about my availability, if I had any experience, and my general attitude. I had one virtual interview first, and then I went in person to try on the uniform and answer a couple more questions.

I went in on Friday and filled out an application. After that, I spoke with the GM. He was pretty nice but also a bit intimidating and unfocused since he was juggling multiple tasks. He told me to come back the following Monday for an "audition" where my picture would be taken in the uniform. He also mentioned I should be camera-ready, meaning styled hair and full makeup. On Monday, I met a different person who took three pictures of me (front, side, and back) and sent them to corporate. About an hour later, I received a call confirming my position. Although I originally applied for a server role, they were in greater need of a hostess, and I had already secured another job that would train me as a server, so I declined their offer.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process here is a mess. It seems like there's a phone interview, then a DIL, and then a couple more interviews, but nobody's really organized. The CEO is the only one making decisions, and the owners are clueless about the restaurant business. They're lawyers with a lot of money who are investing in a brand but have no focus, running a construction company, real estate, a law firm, and a restaurant franchiser all from one office. It feels like a waste of time. They also have no sense of urgency, leading potential managers on for 45 days before deciding. Total joke of a company!
