Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tulane University.
Intern
The process was respectful and well-organized. I enjoyed the entire experience. Although there were challenging questions, the interview itself was straightforward. For students, securing internships can be challenging, but Tulane offers numerous avenues for students to find suitable roles.
- What is your perspective on compassion during this interview?
Intern
It was super easy! They just asked some questions about me and my interest in joining the department. They wanted to know my class schedule and when I'm free. Also asked about my work ethic and other campus activities.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What makes you want to work here?
- What does your class schedule look like?
Student Worker
It was pretty standard. If you're a Tulane student, it's usually not too tough, and honestly, you often skip the interview part altogether since you're on work-study.
- Can you describe how you see yourself fitting in here?
