The interview process was pretty straightforward and easy. But honestly, the feedback was not great. They just said that others were a better fit for the job criteria, which felt a bit vague. I prefer feedback that points out specific areas for improvement so I could have a better shot next time.

I applied online and got an interview invitation within 2 weeks. I had an in-person interview in Crawley where I first did a copywriting task, writing by hand for a brochure using provided info. This felt like a test of literacy but I wondered why copywriters would write by hand. The interview questions weren't hard and seemed to look for specific answers, not to understand my strengths or personality. They asked a few questions about their brand, which felt like just repeating internet info rather than testing marketing skills. When I asked about the company culture, the biggest challenges, and professional development, the answers were weak. Professional development was described as soft skills and PowerPoint, not qualifications or mentoring. I felt the interviewers weren't engaged after the first 5 minutes, just going through the motions. It's a shame because I thought it would be a stimulating workplace. I haven't heard back in 3 months and they seemed unsure about an assessment day or second interviews. They didn't even send a rejection email.

Applying was easy, just went through Tui's website. They replied quickly to my application and emails. They were flexible with interview times. The interview itself was pretty easy, felt friendly but was quite intense. They asked a lot of questions but gave me enough time to think before answering. It was all virtual because of Covid.
