Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tufts Medical Center.
Executive Assistant
It was easy and straightforward, the interviewers were friendly and I did not feel nervous at all. The whole process took one week and it was through a staffing agency for a contracted role.
- Why are you the best candidate for this position?
Administrative Assistant
A colleague referred me, and I applied online. About a week later, HR contacted me for an interview. I came in for an interview about another week after that phone call. I had to fly in, so maybe that's not always the case, but I met with HR and had an interview, then I interviewed with a couple of people from the department. The whole interview process took around two hours. A couple days after the interview, they asked for my references, and then I got the job offer about 6 days later.
- Tell me about yourself.
Administrative Assistant
It was a great experience for a first job, but I did have some problems with HR. They made a mistake on my offer letter, and when I arrived for my first day, they weren't expecting me.
