Software Engineer
It was horrible, the interviewer is NOT knowledgble at all, but think he's right all the time. I think he's name is Saurabh. Only new grad level questions, not at all appropriate for a deep dive interview
- Can you explain what training errors are?
- What is softmax?
- What is backpropagation?
Software Engineer
The interview process was not great. I first had a call with the recruiter who rescheduled me once, but she was nice enough. Then I had a phone interview with the Engineering/Hiring Manager. They mainly wanted to know how I'd approach improving a specific section of their app that they'd already built but wanted to make better. Since I'd faced similar problems before, I suggested a few ideas. They didn't ask any technical questions, coding challenges, or deep dives into my past experience or tech stack. It felt like they were just looking for solutions to their current issues, which was a strange interview. I wasn't selected in the end, and I'm not sure why, given how little information they gathered. It felt like a waste of my time.
- Can you describe how you would tackle the improvement of this particular app feature that we urgently need to enhance?
Senior Software Engineer
It started with a 45-minute phone screen with the hiring manager. After that, there was a technical screen with an engineer, which included one coding problem where I was allowed to use my IDE and the internet.
- Can you describe the hardest problem you've encountered and solved using Scala?
