Account Manager
Applied for an Account Manager role at Tubi in mid-Feb with a referral. The recruiter was helpful and my interview with the hiring manager was great. A week later, I was told I didn’t have the “edge” or “leadership skills” compared to others. The hiring manager recommended me for a programmatic role that better fit my background. After waiting two more weeks, I interviewed again and it went extremely well. Another week later, I was told the role is now closed until August. The whole process took over a month and felt like a waste of time for a role that ultimately didn’t exist. Wouldn’t recommend.
- How do you leverage data to construct a narrative?
Account Manager
The recruiter who reached out for a phone screening was unprofessional, starting with "You had applied to this position." Then, I went through numerous rounds of interviews, including panel and 1:1 interviews. They even asked for my references, but then decided not to move forward and hire me. They didn't even tell me after all the time I spent interviewing until I followed up. It was disgusting and unprofessional!
- What makes you want to work for Tubi?
Account Manager
I'm nearly at the fourth interview stage and haven't heard back at all. No communication, good or bad. Please, don't waste people's time and then ghost them. The whole process feels disorganized.
