There were two rounds to the interview. First, a technical chat with the professor that covered basic to advanced topics. Then, a round with the lab where I met the lab members and learned about what they do.

It was a two-round interview process with a few interviewers, covering both technical and HR-type questions. Each interview lasted about 30-60 minutes. My main interviewer, who would be my future mentor, conducted the interview either online or in person.

The interview is highly dependent on the interviewer. Generally, it's a pleasant conversation. Sometimes, you might need to prepare tasks. Afterwards, there's a tour of the facilities. Finally, there's time for questions, which also helps you determine if the position is a good fit.
