First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TTSH.
Senior Manager
So I had an interview with the HR manager, director, and a staff member from the department. During my intro, the director and staff were kinda chatting amongst themselves, which felt a bit unprofessional. They asked about my leadership style, what my previous managers would think of me, my interest in healthcare, and some stuff about my past work. It was surprising that this was the only interview before they made a decision. Makes me wonder if they already had someone picked and were just going through the motions. Anyway, the whole thing didn't give me a great vibe about the job or the team, so I'll pass even if they offer.
- Could you describe your leadership style?
- What feedback would you expect from your previous managers?
- What motivates your interest in the healthcare industry?
Manager
Interviewed on-site at TTSH for a healthcare administrative role. The HR manager's feedback was negative, undermining my career experience outside healthcare and being dismissive about titles in the tech industry. They suggested tailoring my CV more, sarcastically noting that 'very good candidates' do this and that healthcare professionals wouldn't understand terms like 'business blocker.' This part lasted 3-5 minutes. Due to this experience, I decided not to proceed. The hiring manager, however, was pleasant and showed genuine interest in getting to know me.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- How can you contribute to our team?
Management Associate
So after submitting my resume through jobstreet, I got invited to a group assessment. First, we had this individual assignment where everyone got some time and materials to prepare a presentation on a given topic, and presented it to 2 assessors. Right after that, we were put into groups to discuss our ideas and come up with a collective answer. Then came the group presentation part, and after that, the interviewers asked us questions. The very last part was a team game. For anyone else going for this, I'd suggest getting familiar with the industry or the local healthcare scene beforehand.
- Questions were mainly based on the Q&A that followed the group work.
