Behavioral Technical Presentation

It started with a 20-minute phone call with the staffing agency, covering my experience and product knowledge. Then, I had to write a letter in my native language about why I'd be excited to join Ttec. The next step was an in-person interview with two managers, where they focused heavily on my resume rather than having a discussion. It felt like they were trying to corner me instead of talking about the role and products. One manager even looked up my current manager's name mid-interview, which seemed unprofessional. Following that, I did a call simulation with a manager where we disagreed on strategy. He believed an account manager should push for budget increases, arguing that more spending automatically leads to more sales. My perspective was more analytical – to first identify improvements within the existing account before suggesting a budget hike, as a bad campaign won't improve just because the budget is larger. This difference in opinion made me realize this job wasn't for me. I felt their approach, likely as a vendor, was narrow in managing a Google account, whereas my background offers a deeper understanding. Because of this, I didn't even send a thank you email. I didn't receive an offer or feedback from the recruiter, which is fine, as I would have declined anyway and wouldn't have worked there. What also stood out was that one manager seemed unaware of a partnership between their client Google and a major cloud company, which speaks volumes.

I applied online and got an online test. Make sure you set aside enough time to finish it, it's not hard but you need to focus without distractions. After that, there were two phone interviews where they asked sales-focused questions. You don't need to be an expert on the product, just show you're excited about it. The final stage was a Skype interview with two managers, one of whom spoke my language and would be my potential manager.

I had a phone screen with a recruiter first, in English. Then, I had to write a cover letter in French about why I wanted the job, the product and the company. After that, I had an in-person interview with two Sales Managers, in English. Finally, there was a last call in French to confirm I was still interested and they offered me the job.
