First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TSS Consultancy.
Business Analyst
First, there was an interview call where we did introductions and discussed what a Business Analyst is and other basic stuff. Then, there was an in-person interview with lots of questions, but none were technical. They mainly wanted to gauge my enthusiasm and see if I was a good fit for the role, specifically asking why I wanted to be a BA.
- Why are you pursuing a career as a Business Analyst?
Business Analyst
The interview process was quite disappointing. The person who initially reached out to me never mentioned that the position was a completely non-IT role. I have clearly stated in my resume that I have completed my BE and Diploma, and despite that, I was shortlisted. However, during the interview itself, they informed me that the role was non-IT, which was unexpected and felt like a complete mismatch with my profile. On top of that, the interviewers did not seem to have technical knowledge, yet they still asked technical questions. This led to unnecessary confusion, because they were unable to understand the answers they themselves asked for.
- How do you see your background in technology connecting with this non-IT position?
Business Analyst
I applied via campus recruitment. First, there was an aptitude test at the college. After that, selected candidates had a presentation round and a group discussion. The third round was technical, and the fourth was HR. It was a good experience overall. After the second round, the company provided breakfast and tea.
