Field Engineer
The interview process at technology service professionals was great. They looked at my skills to see if I was a good fit for the role. It was about 3 interviews total with HR and the hiring manager.
- Can you describe a problem you solved in your previous position?
Field Service Engineer
I had a phone interview with someone from corporate to confirm I met the job needs. Then, I spoke with the team manager on the phone. Because there were many people applying, I then had an in-person interview with the hiring manager, followed by a team interview to see if we'd all work well together.
- Given your lack of direct field experience, can you describe any similar experiences from your personal or professional life that you believe have prepared you for this role?
Field Engineer
The recruiter, Mickey Chappell, reached out to me and asked about my interest in the role. After our chat, she forwarded my info to the hiring manager and we scheduled an interview. We exchanged emails to finalize details and for her to send the Teams link for the video interview. I then interviewed with Heather Mares on Wednesday and got the offer the following Monday. The process was quick and efficient, and I appreciated TSP's handling of the whole thing.
- Given your limited tech background, what draws you to this specific role?
