The interview process was great for the role. They got in touch through LinkedIn, and the entire experience from start to finish was very professional. I really enjoyed interacting with everyone, and even though I decided not to move forward, it was more because I wanted to start a family and not because of the business.

I applied online and the whole thing took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Trustpilot in May 2022 in London. It's a bit of a choose your own adventure with 1 to 3 stages depending on your experience. It starts with an email, then a phone call with the Head of Enterprise Sales. I got the vibe the team is small and kinda new, not super in tune with the real world. If you pass that, you go into the office to meet your future buddies, team lead, and manager. Before that though, you gotta do a pre-interview assignment. First, find a company with over £50M revenue that isn't a customer yet (tip: think retail eCommerce). Second, figure out who the main decision-maker is. Third, at least an hour before your interview, email them the company name, website, and the contact person's name, title, and LinkedIn. I passed on this, by the way. TRUSTPILOT, you guys need to sort yourselves out.

I was contacted by a recruiter about a Senior BDM position. Since I was looking, we scheduled a call. The recruiter confirmed the phone interview for that day but then didn't call. I messaged to check if it was still on. No reply. A few days later I messaged again to see if the job was still open. Still no reply. I ended up applying through the website and scheduled another call. The actual call was pretty boring. They asked a lot about my current job's processes and seemed more interested in my company than me. They almost ended the call without asking if I had questions, even though the job ad was really vague. I asked my questions, and they said they'd get back to me in 24 hours about next steps. I never heard back. I got a generic email a few days later saying they hired other candidates.
