Behavioral Presentation

The interview process at Trustpilot is, to put it mildly, complicated. I initially had a phone screen with the hiring manager, then I met with four different sales managers. The final stage involved a mock sales presentation. While these stages are fairly typical, the company kept rescheduling interviews and, in my opinion, provided misleading feedback at every turn. It seems the sales presentation is the most crucial part of their hiring decision, which I feel is not an effective way to evaluate candidates.

Behavioral Presentation Case

I went through the whole hiring process at TrustPilot, it took about 4 months total, but sadly I didn't get the offer. First, I had a video call with the recruiter, then another video call with the Head of Sales. After that, there was a homework assignment. Then I did a role-play and presentation with two Team Managers from the country. The last step was an on-site meeting with the Country Manager. Even though I didn't get the job, I was impressed by how professional everyone was and how the company's values seem to be genuinely lived out. It feels like a great place to work, balancing results and employee happiness. The recruiter was always on time and kept me updated, even when things took longer than expected. So, it was a good experience overall, the only downside was the 4-month duration which felt too long.
