First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TruStage.
Sales
This interview process can take a bit, and it's pretty competitive out there. You'll have a few rounds. First up is a phone screening. If they're feeling good about you after that, you'll chat with the hiring manager or someone on the team. After you're done with the interviews, they'll extend an offer.
- Had to do a lot of research on the role.
Sales Planner
This was the best interview I've had. It felt more like a chat than a formal interview. The person interviewing me was punctual, and they asked mostly behavioral and hypothetical questions. I had a really good time during it.
- Can you describe your experience managing the contract management system?
Sales Representative
Since I was already working here, the interview wasn't super long. But be ready for lots of 'tell me about a time' questions. Depending on the job, you might need to take a sales test, a typing test, and a math test. Usually, more than one person interviews you and they take turns asking stuff. First up is a phone screen with a third-party company to weed people out. If they call you back, you passed. It's pretty basic – qualified or not. Then you do one or two face-to-face interviews.
- Can you share an instance where you felt you disappointed someone?
- Describe a situation where you failed to meet a firm goal or deadline.
