First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TruStage.
Analyst
It was a 3 round process, with 2 people in each round. The first two rounds were with the hiring manager, and they were looking for a personality fit. The last round was with an analyst and associate for more technical review.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Can you walk me through your resume?
Analyst
I had a phone interview, then met with the hiring manager. After that, I met with the team and also had to do a case interview. For the case interview, using PowerPoint was recommended. I spent a lot of time preparing it. When I went to present, they didn't even have a computer or monitor set up for me. So, I had to present it on paper, which was really awkward. After all those interview rounds and the case study, they told me I lacked insurance experience, even though they knew this from the start. A lot of my time was spent on this.
- What is your experience with expense management?
- How enthusiastic are you about the products?
Summer Analyst
I got to the pre-screening. Someone emailed me and we set up an interview for the next week. It was 30 minutes and they asked STAR method questions.
- Describe a situation where you collaborated effectively with a team to achieve a positive outcome.
