Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Truist.
Leadership Development Program
It was an easy process, but it did take some time, so be prepared. They were upfront about the timelines, which is good. Make sure you are well-prepared and confident during the process to increase your chances of being hired.
- What motivated you to apply for this program?
Leadership Development Program
The interview process was really bad. I got through three rounds, including the super day, but then they ghosted me. I tried following up several times and never heard back. From what I understand, most other people who went through the process also got ghosted.
- Can you tell me about a time you had a conflict with a coworker?
Leadership Development Program
I applied on Jan 27th and heard back on Feb 4th for the first interview. It was a 30-min phone interview on Feb 10th with only behavioral questions. Then I got invited to their super day in Charlotte, NC on Feb 13th. The super day was on Feb 21st, with a casual welcome reception the night before where I could chat with recruiters and past graduates. The super day itself ran from 8 am to 1 pm and included 2 behavioral interviews and a critical thinking exercise. I got the offer on Feb 28th. It was a cool way to meet people and get a feel for the company culture.
