The hiring process moved quickly. It included one interview with the company and two with the end client. Everyone I met was really friendly and a pleasure to talk to. Sadly, the role was ultimately canceled.

I got reached out on LinkedIn for this role and decided to apply. The initial interview was scheduled but the recruiter no-showed for 20 minutes. They messaged me later to see if I could still make it, which I did. It was supposed to be about my experience, but the recruiter seemed totally checked out, kind of rude, and just wanted to get it over with. Then they sent this insane HackerRank assessment with 3 coding challenges (backend, frontend, database - weird since the JD didn't mention databases). Each had a 30-minute time limit with no copy-pasting or research allowed. The testing was also super unrealistic. Obviously, I couldn't finish it.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Tell me about your experience with Ruby on Rails.
