The process started with an HR interview to screen candidates. This chat was about my background, education, professional history, and to check my communication, confidence, attitude, and if I'm a cultural fit. We also talked about my career goals, expectations, and if I fit the company. They basically checked my resume, notice period, salary expectations, and availability. If all looked good, I was moved to the next round. Then, there was a technical round with a subject matter expert. They wanted to see my practical knowledge and expertise in the core domain, checking my understanding of concepts, tools, and how I'd handle real work situations. They asked questions about my problem-solving and analytical skills, and my hands-on experience with industry practices. This was to see how I use my knowledge practically. Doing well here got me to the managerial round. Finally, I had a round with a senior manager or department head. This was focused on leadership skills, decision-making, how I handle teams, resolve conflicts, and my ownership mentality. They also looked at my work ethic, accountability, stress management, and my long-term vision for growth in the company. They asked behavioral questions about my past experiences and challenges to see if I was a strategic fit beyond just my technical skills.

The selection process was lengthy, involving 3 stages. The difficulty was medium, but the feedback delivery was very slow, and non-existent for the third and final stage. After completing 3 interviews, each lasting over an hour, they completely disappeared without providing any feedback, positive or negative. The HR representative, who used to contact me via WhatsApp to arrange selection steps and responded very quickly when it suited them, even after I asked for feedback weeks after my last interview with the Head of Sales, viewed my message and never replied again. I consider this utilitarian behavior extremely serious and very rude towards us candidates, who are used until we are useful and then left hanging when we are no longer of interest.

A recruiter initially reached out on LinkedIn but then ghosted me after I showed interest. I had already applied after seeing the job posting. The recruiter and I had an hour-long conversation, and they mentioned there might be an interview and asked for writing samples. After that, I didn't hear anything until I got a generic rejection email via LinkedIn stating I wasn't considered for the role.
