Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at True Mental Health Services.
Case Manager
I had one interview with the team lead in the office, and they asked me job-relevant questions. The questions were about how I would handle difficult situations that could arise with clients.
- Describe your actions if a client begins to behave inappropriately towards you.
Case Manager
They had me do a personality test after watching a video. Then, during the in-person interview, I had to fill out forms for a background check. The interviewer seemed awkward and lacked social skills. It was also unprofessional that they scheduled another candidate at the same time; I think they might have mixed up the team lead who was supposed to interview us. This whole experience really highlighted how unorganized the company is.
- Were there any instances where you left a previous job on bad terms?
Case Manager
I spoke with different team members, like directors and team leaders. It was pretty relaxed, and they just wanted to see why I wanted to work for them. Being friendly and honest really helped.
- What makes you want to work in mental health?
