It was a good interview process overall. It started with a screening interview on Zoom, followed by a take-home case study. The final round consisted of two back-to-back interviews on Zoom. One of the interviewers in the final round kept asking me the same question about how I stayed organized, just phrased in different ways.
- What makes you interested in Executive Search?
Talent Acquisition Partner
I was contacted on LinkedIn about a potential opportunity. We had an initial call where they told me about the company and thought my background was a good fit. They then connected me with a colleague for a follow-up discussion. We talked more about the role, and they said they would send over a job description and asked for my resume, which I updated and sent. However, I haven't heard back in two weeks despite reaching out for an update, which I find unprofessional.

- What are your responsibilities in your current role?

So first, there was this 15 to 30-minute chat with someone from the team. If that went well, they gave me this project to do over a week. After I sent it back, I had the final round which was basically three interviews all in one day. One was technical, going over my project, and then two were behavioral. I found out about a week later what they decided.

Executive
Had two bad experiences with True. First, someone contacted me about a role they were sourcing, saying I'd be a good fit. We connected, and they said they'd connect me with a colleague. They did, and we emailed a few times. She asked for my availability, which I provided, but then she ghosted me even after I followed up. Months later, a new person reached out about another opportunity, saying I'd be a good fit but would need to sign an NDA. I signed it, and then they pushed for an interview with someone else on the team. I had two calls with that person, and they said they wanted me to speak with the hiring executive. Then they completely ghosted me again. No follow-up, and they won't respond when I try to follow up. I get you're trying to hire and get paid fast as a search firm, but stop wasting people's time and treat them with respect. You're trying to hire executives but treat people like it's a temp agency.
