First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Triple Crown Consulting.
Tech Recruiter
The internal recruiter reached out a couple of days after I applied through LinkedIn, and was super helpful. We had one phone call, then a few days later I interviewed in person at the office with team leaders there. The whole process was super calm and felt more like a conversation than a pressured interview. They made it clear the personality they were looking for, and when I seemed like a good fit, they told me. Very professional yet personable. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the office, and accepted the job the day they offered it. The whole process took about a week from applying to accepting.
- Would you be alright with a role that might be challenging initially?
- Did you participate in any sports during your childhood?
Technical Recruiter
I was strung along for 5 months. First, I had to do a presentation. Then, there was a 4-month period of radio silence, despite my consistent follow-ups. After this long wait, I finally had a final interview that went really well. The kicker was the ridiculously low salary offer of $35,000, which was about $100,000 less than market rate for a technical recruiter. They claimed it was 'competitive pay,' which is absurd given the cost of living and the qualifications required. It felt like a small, unvisionary company that doesn't know how to grow.
- What are some standard interview questions you've been asked?
Senior Recruiter
It was a nice conversation, they let me consider my choices and get input from others about the job. Overall it was very pleasant, I talked to several people in recruiting and sales.
- What drives you at this stage of your career?
