The hiring process took about 3 months, involving a lot of paperwork and waiting. I was granted an interim clearance but still need to complete another lab for blood work. I incurred significant expenses for travel to complete required steps like physicals and drug tests, with the closest approved facility for Constellis being a 2.5-hour drive each way. I made this trip four times already and have one more to go. It's a very expensive job to get, costing me more money than I've ever spent on a job that doesn't pay much, and the compensation offered isn't high. I'm starting to question my decision to work here.

I had a detailed phone interview with the Billing manager that lasted about 30 minutes. She started by introducing herself and then went into the specifics of the position and some general company information. Then, she asked me about my past roles and how I handled government billing processes.

Since I'm currently a contractor (intermittent employee), the interview was a phone call. Their office is in Virginia, but you'd be working overseas. They want to know about your military or law enforcement background. They'll also ask if your security clearance is up-to-date and if you can pass a physical training test (PEB).

A recruiter from TC reached out and asked me some questions to verify my resume. After we covered all that, I got a contingent job offer and am now working on submitting my paperwork and starting the background check.
