First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at tringapps.
Software Developer
It was a general fresher walk-in. We were asked to report at 8:30 AM, but the HR arrived late around 10:30 AM. Around 400 people showed up, and we all had to wait outside until the evening. Some people got tired of waiting and left. The interview was straightforward; we were given 4 simple questions (listed below) to solve within 20 minutes. I managed to solve 3 correctly and partially completed the 4th. I waited patiently while they graded our papers. When the results were announced, I was rejected. Shocked, I inquired with the HR about the reason for my rejection. The response I received was, "Your handwriting is not good, and you have struck out several lines, which is why you are being rejected." I was taken aback but decided not to argue and left.
- How would you reverse a number without using any built-in functions?
- Can you sort an array in ascending order without employing built-in functions?
- Please display the Fibonacci series.
Software Engineer
An HR person contacted me to confirm my info and set up a meeting. I had 4 technical interviews back-to-back on the same day. Then I had a final chat with HR, and I got the offer the week after.
- Can you tell me about the projects you have worked on before?
- We want to dive deeper into one specific area where we felt you might need more technical expertise. Can you discuss that?
- Given your technical background, how do you see your skills aligning with the needs of this role, especially in areas where you might be less experienced?
Senior Software Engineer
The interview process consisted of 3 rounds: a technical round, a manager round, and an HR round. The HR representative, Aarthi, was very helpful and managed the process efficiently. An offer was extended on the same day as the HR round.
- The interview was good and friendly.
