Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TriNet.
Sales Executive
I was contacted by a recruiter via a generic template message. They initially expressed interest in my background, suggesting I'd be a good fit, and asked for my resume. However, after I submitted it, they stated I wasn't a suitable candidate. This lack of transparency, likely due to inexperience or poor execution by the recruiter, felt disrespectful and like a waste of my time.
- Could you please submit your resume for consideration by the team?
Account Executive
I went through about 4-5 calls over a 4-5 week period. I passed each step rather quickly, but then came thr follow up. I was pretty much told that I had the position by the recuiter, and was even emailing with the VP. After a few emails back and forth and being told I pretty much got the job, I was completely ghosted. I reached out to the people that interviewed me as well as the recruiter, and nothing! Only to get an email weeks later from the VP stating that they weren't hiring for the position anymore.
- What's your reason for leaving your current role?
Business Development Executive
Recruiter reached out in a disorganized way. Phone interviews had a weirdly hostile tone even though they contacted me. Went through multiple long video interviews, then they ghosted me. Felt disrespectful and like a waste of time.
- Can you provide an example of X?
