The interview process was quite disappointing. I was given very little notice, only six hours, for a late interview at 8:30 PM EST to fit the interviewer's time zone. It became apparent during our talk about my Oracle application experience that the interviewer wasn't really listening, as their summary of my background and experience was a significant understatement. A major issue was the interviewer's reaction to me not having a PMP certification. Even though my resume didn't list it, my negative answer seemed to immediately decrease their interest and respect for my time. Additionally, when I tried to get more information about the role and how the company handles its processes, the answers were frustratingly vague. When I asked about the project, I was only told it was a "project manager" role that was "global." My questions about project management playbooks and leadership duties were also answered vaguely and in a way that felt condescending. I definitely don't want to work for a company that shows such a clear lack of respect to candidates.

I interviewed with a panel of two people, one developer and one manager. Their attitude felt a bit off, and the questions seemed to focus a lot on limitations. One specific question I answered correctly, but the manager, thinking they knew better, insisted it wouldn't work, suggesting they had a predetermined answer in mind.

So I went through 2 rounds of interviews. The first one was a 40-minute technical interview covering SQL/PLSQL and Fusion. After that, I was cleared for the HR round. Two days later, I had a 30-minute HR interview with the director where they asked about why I was interested in Trinamix and my 5-year goals. Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed with how the hiring team handled things. They told me an offer would be made, we even finalized salary discussions, but then 12 days later, after multiple follow-ups from my end, they said they couldn't proceed with my application. It's frustrating to have my time wasted with false promises of an offer after salary talks, especially when they weren't planning to hire.
