It was a two-stage interview. The first was a video call, a casual chat with some questions. My internet was really bad and I didn't answer everything, but I still made it to the next part. The second stage involved giving a presentation and then answering a couple of questions. Overall, it was a good and pretty simple interview.

The interview process had 2 rounds. The first round was with a hiring agency, and the second round was with the Client Service Director and my direct manager, the Account Director, at the company. It wasn't too difficult, mostly typical questions about my past experience. I was a recent graduate with limited experience, but they still gave me a chance. Some questions were straightforward, while others were designed to be tricky, testing my ability to handle stress, which is high in advertising, and my communication skills for briefing creatives or handling clients. They also assessed my English because the work is international and most briefs are in English.

I was contacted by the hiring manager and recruiter for an Operations position. They were both quite friendly and responded promptly via email. I had a really good, candid, and encouraging conversation with the CFO and was invited for an interview the very next day. I ended up meeting with 6 different people in about an hour and a half. Everyone was really considerate of my time and consistently conveyed the same message about the agency, its challenges, and their perspective on the role I was interested in. I didn't take the job because I had another opportunity that was a better fit for me at the time, but I have a lot of positive things to say about Tribal and hope to connect with the people I met there again.

I think the only reason I got this interview was because I emailed the managing director, who then passed my email to the HR director. She reached out to me right away for a 1:1 interview at the office. Since I was open to any position, she sent me to interview with the digital strategist, who I ended up being supervised by during my internship. He hired me on the spot.
