& Process

Recruited through my university's career portal as part of campus recruitment. The recruiter, a Senior Associate, was my main contact for campus hires. I had an initial on-campus interview, followed by an in-person interview at their Atlanta Office. They covered all travel expenses for the on-site. The interview process lasted about 4 hours. It included a 75-minute lunch with an associate and senior associate, a 15-minute tour of the office, a 30-minute one-on-one with a principal, another 30-minute one-on-one with a manager, a 30-minute overview of the case study, and finally a 60-minute session where I worked through 3 case studies.

The whole process from applying to the final interview took about 5 weeks. They are good about responding within 2 weeks regardless of the outcome, though timing doesn't necessarily indicate acceptance. I learned about Triage from a friend and went to a university info session. While the info session gave a general overview, talking to friends who work there was more helpful for understanding the culture. After passing the initial application screen, I had my first round of interviews, which was a behavioral interview with a Principal. For this, you need to understand yourself, your resume, your life goals, and be able to explain why you applied to Triage. Then, I was invited for the second and final round of interviews, which involved being flown to San Francisco. This round included 3-4 interviews with employees of different levels, which was good for getting different perspectives on career progression at Triage. It was an all-day event (around 9 AM to 3 PM), so prepare to be comfortable. Mostly, the conversations were about understanding who I am and my professional goals. As with any interview, preparation is key. Ultimately, be yourself and relax; if it's the right fit, it will work out.

Lunch followed at a local restaurant with an Associate and Senior Associate. The day concluded with one more 45-minute behavioral interview with a manager. I was nervous but found the whole experience quite pleasant! The breakfast helped ease my nerves, and the Associates provided an agenda with interviewers' names. Chatting with other candidates in the morning and during breaks was fun, and everyone at the office was very approachable. My advice: grab some coffee beforehand or order some at lunch, as it's a long day. Just be yourself and show enthusiasm!
