& Process

I had a phone screen for about 45 minutes, then back-to-back Skype calls for about 2 hours. The third interview was supposed to be an in-person one where I would do two case interviews and have lunch with staff, but I declined it because of how incompetent they were with booking everything. They took over two weeks to let me know it was a final interview, then told me not to use third-party sites after rejecting a plane ticket I booked. They also gave me less than two weeks to book a flight during the holidays that was under their price range. The task was impossible and they offered no help with booking. Don't put interviewees in a tough spot like that. Show them you want them there, or they'll see how poorly your company operates internally.

Started with a Skype screening, they asked me about data analysis and team experience, plus typical 'why Triage' questions. The second round was a Skype interview with two managers back-to-back, 45 mins each with a break in between. It was conversational, with some guided questions like 'describe a time you had to partner with a team member to overcome an obstacle/utilize resources'. They were really interested if you found the company organically. The in-person stage involved back-to-back 45-minute interviews with a principal. It felt more like a conversation, they barely asked questions and just let things flow. They did ask how I found the company and why I applied, about my greatest accomplishment, and my data analysis experience. The case study was a walk-through of how they find underpayments, step-by-step; you just take notes and can finish the 3 examples in 45 minutes. Lunch was great, good food and conversation.

It took about 6 weeks for the whole thing. First I had a phone interview with someone who was an Associate Consultant. Then I had a Skype interview with a Manager. The last part was an on-site Interview where they paid for my travel. There, I had two interviews, one with a Principal and another with a manager. After that, I did a case study and had lunch with a Senior Associate and an Experienced Consultant. It took a few weeks after that third interview for them to send me the check to reimburse my travel expenses.
