Behavioral Technical Coding

First, there was an HR call where they asked some basic behavioral questions about my previous work. Then, a technical interview followed, covering my resume and a Leetcode medium question. The final stage is an onsite superday, which I haven't attended yet.

  • Can you tell me about your previous experiences?
  • Have you practiced Leetcode medium problems?
  • Could you go over your resume with me?

Behavioral Other

They asked me if I knew what the company does. I said alpha factor research and then they gave me a corporate monologue with buzzwords like "innovative" and "cutting-edge" which didn't clarify anything. Basic distinctions between investment banking divisions seemed new to them, and a question about visa sponsorship turned into an immigration law seminar. After half an hour of circular talk and confusion, it seemed curiosity and competence were not required.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Do you need visa sponsorship? What exactly is E2 dependent?

Coding Behavioral Technical

First, there was a take-home assignment: the hangman problem, which I had a week to complete. Then, an HR interview covering basic HR questions and one Leetcode-style coding problem. This was followed by a technical interview with the team lead for the team I would be joining. Finally, I had an interview with the CEO, which was a mix of technical and behavioral questions.

Confirmed questions5 questions
  • Solve the hangman problem in one week.
  • Basic HR questions + 1 Leetcode style coding problem.
  • Technical Interview by the person leading the team you're assigned to.
