It was a really good interview process, the person interviewing me was super easy to talk to and made everything feel really relaxed and friendly. There were 2 rounds in total. The first round was mainly about discussing the projects listed on my resume, and the second round was with the CEQ where they asked questions about how I'd handle certain situations.

Behavioral Presentation

They reached out to me because a former supervisor recommended me. We had an initial conversation where they described the company and checked my interest. Something the recruiter mentioned made me feel like the company might be unstable, so I directly asked about funding for the position. I was reassured that everything was fine. After our call, the HR person outlined the next steps: I had to send in my resume, and then they would send me a question to answer. The question was about how I'd manage a product launch from beginning to end if hired. I submitted my response on a Friday afternoon. Just one business day later, Monday morning, I got an email saying that after another review, the position was put on hold. It felt like they were trying to get a product launch comms plan for free. These people seem incompetent. I wouldn't recommend engaging with them if they reach out.

I applied online and was invited for a face-to-face interview. After several emails where they mentioned drafting an offer, I never received it or any communication about their decision. It was just silence, which was really disappointing due to the poor communication and unprofessionalism. I don't understand why they wouldn't just send a rejection if they weren't interested. It really highlights why they need operations support to improve their recruitment process.

Technical Case Behavioral

I first had a face-to-face interview where I was asked questions about hadoop, mapreduce, and given a business use-case to solve. Then there was a phone call with lots of technical questions covering every language and technology on my resume. After that, I took an online assessment exam. Finally, I had 3 face-to-face rounds on the same day, mostly discussing my past projects, the company, and what I know about tresata and their work.
