Trelleborg Software Engineer Interview Questions

The interview was pretty straightforward and lasted about 35 minutes. The interviewer seemed a bit disengaged. I felt I nailed all the questions, covering core concepts and some JS code snippets. However, I later found out the interviewer gave me a poor rating of 2.5 to HR, even giving a 1 for Angular which wasn't even discussed, despite my Angular JS experience. I asked for a re-evaluation, but got no response. I was really keen on joining Trelleborg, but it didn't work out due to what seems like an unprofessional evaluation.

It started with a telephonic round, followed by a face-to-face interview at their office on Hosur Road. I didn't make it past the first face-to-face. While I wasn't upset about not passing, I was really unhappy with how they told me the result. Normally, the HR person informs you, but this time, they just called the security guard in the lobby to tell me to leave! It was so rude and unprofessional. The security guard didn't even move from his spot, he just told me to leave. I felt really bad about that.

Started with an online application. Then an invitation for an initial interview with two people (HR and department). A short time later, the second interview followed with three attendees. Overall, it was a very pleasant job interview.
