I interviewed with about 13 people over Microsoft Teams. Everyone was really nice and the questions weren't too hard. The hardest part was just finding the time because the first two interviews were only 30 minutes, but then the next ones were 3 hours and 2.5 hours long.

I heard back from them pretty fast. They had me do this recorded video interview first where I got three prompts. I had to answer each in about a minute after 30 seconds of prep time. After that, I had a phone interview with the head engineer. It went okay, but he seemed more interested in hiring someone who wasn't an intern, and he didn't seem too keen on teaching.

Even though Trek seems like a great company because of their products, their recruiting process is honestly one of the worst and most unprofessional I've experienced. Communication was bad, they seemed to be figuring things out as they went, there were weird writing tasks, they didn't stick to their promised timelines, I dealt with a bunch of different recruiters, and the whole thing took way too long, almost 3 months.
