Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TreeHouse Foods.
Manager
It was a pretty fair interview process. I spoke with 3 people, and they mostly asked behavioral questions. They also asked about my past work experience and how it relates to this current position.
- Can you describe your strengths and weaknesses?
- How does your previous job experience align with the requirements of this role?
Manager
I was contacted via LinkedIn by HR, then had a video call with the Director. After that, I went in for four 1-hour back-to-back 1:1 meetings. I felt good about it, but then got ghosted. Looking back, I think they just wanted my ideas on how I'd approach a new position, especially since the Director took so many notes during our meetings.
- Can you share an instance where you...?
- Describe your approach to...
- What is your background regarding...?
Manager
The interview process was pretty standard, but everything was done virtually because of the current situation. It started with a phone screen from HR, followed by an interview with the hiring manager, and then an interview with two VP-level associates.
- Can you share an example of when you led by example?
