Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Treatwell.
Sales Lead
The interview process was quite thorough yet engaging. It began with an initial call with the recruiter. Then, I had a chat with two managers who were keen to learn more about my background. This was followed by a case study presentation task. I then presented this to two managers, and finally, I had a follow-up chat with the Head of Sales. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and professional, giving me a great insight into the company culture and role expectations. The whole process was structured, clear, and a good reflection of Treatwell’s values.
- Can you describe your strategy for building a sales pipeline within a specific territory?
Sales Representative
The interview process had 3 rounds, each with its own tasks and expectations. The first round was an introductory chat to get to know each other and learn about the company and the role. The second round involved a roleplay, giving me a practical sense of the job and letting me show off my communication skills. The final round was a business case presentation, where I could show my understanding of the role and how I'd tackle key challenges in an inbound sales position. I could also use the feedback from previous rounds. Overall, the process was structured, informative, and gave me a clear picture of what to expect. There was always time to ask questions, and I felt encouraged to do so throughout.
- Can you tell me why you chose to apply to this company?
- What draws you to a sales role, especially considering your sister already works at Treatwell?
Inside Sales Representative
The recruiter seemed very helpful and attentive at first, like a real HR person. But in reality, the explanation of the rejection was superficial and not very specific, even when I asked for more clarification to improve. They just told me to 'send more resumes if you see interesting positions'.
- Why do you want to apply for this company?
- What are your strengths?
- Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
