Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Treatwell.
Sales Manager
The recruitment process was smooth and professional from the start. The first interaction was a video call with the recruiter, which was a pleasant and straightforward conversation. The next stage involved an in-person visit to the local office to meet with the Country Manager and a Sales Team representative. We had a friendly and engaging discussion, and then I did a short role-play where I pretended to be a salesperson making a call to a salon. This was a practical and fair way to gauge my fit for the role. Everyone I met was kind, open, and welcoming. Communication post-interviews was clear and consistent, with timely updates. It was a really positive experience overall and gave me a great impression of the company and its team.
- Can you share details about your past work experience and how you manage in environments that change rapidly?
Sales Manager
It was an easy interview, but it took a while. There were several calls, and they kept changing the role halfway through. Then, when it came to the offer, they proposed a really low salary. It wasn't competitive at all, neither the salary nor the commission.
- What motivated your application for this position?
Sales Manager
I’ve rarely come across such genuinely kind and supportive people in a recruitment process. A special mention to Lucas Bérard, whose professionalism, empathy, and clear communication made the whole experience smooth and motivating. Throughout the interviews, I felt truly heard, valued, and encouraged. The process was structured and transparent, with thoughtful questions that allowed me to showcase my skills while staying authentic.
- What is your biggest work motivation?
