Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Treatwell.
Inside Sales Executive
The initial interview was with Verónica, who was super friendly and was my main contact. It was a basic screening of my past experience and my strengths and weaknesses. She explained each next step, was really transparent and helpful. Next, I interviewed with Jimena. She assessed my technical skills and past experiences, and we did some role-plays. Jimena was supportive, and I felt comfortable. I was asked to introduce myself in a non-professional way to check my motivations and personality. The last stage was a group interview with four candidates and five executives. I was nervous at first because group interviews are a rare and competitive dynamic. But I ended up feeling comfortable because everyone was friendly and open. I think they wanted to understand each of us better. We mostly talked about motivations, hobbies, and interests, but there were also technical, challenging, and open-ended questions that I used to subtly show my technical sales skills.
- Tell me about your strengths and weaknesses.
- Let's do a role-play exercise.
- What makes you want to work at Treatwell?
Inside Sales Executive
The interview process at Treatwell was incredibly smooth and so well structured. I felt very comfortable at all times and in all of the stages. The process started with an initial cold call by Veronica from HR, followed by a more in-depth conversation with her the week after. Veronica made me feel super comfortable and I was able to talk about myself feeling that I was in a safe space to be truly myself. After that I had an onsite interview with the team leaders, where we discussed the role and expectations in more detail. The team leaders, Ximena and Marco were super helpful as well and made me feel so at home. Finally, the process finalised with a group interview, which allowed for a dynamic and engaging exchange of experiences. Overall, it was a great experience, and I truly appreciated how well organised and welcoming the team and company was during the process.
- During the interview process, I was asked a number of questions that involved both my professional background and personal experiences.
- The hiring team showed an interest not only in my skills and career trajectory but also in my personal journey.
- Additionally, they were highly accommodating, ensuring the process matched with my schedule.
Sales Executive
I had an interview day at Treatwell. The Head of Talent gave one set of instructions, and the Hiring Manager requested another. This disorganization was stressful and unprofessional. Treatwell really needs to improve their communication and coordination for future candidates.
- Were there mundane questions throughout the whole process?
