First there was a screening call, and then I went in for an in-person interview. The in-person was really friendly, mostly just to get to know me. They let me know their decision within 2 days. Super happy with that.
- What are your 5-year career goals within this company?
Field Engineer
I interviewed for an office position in Long Beach, CA. The lady who interviewed me was 15 minutes late to our zoom meeting, offered no apologies or reasoning and continued as if it wasn't an issue. Because of this I already had a negative connotation when we started, but tried to make the best of it and keep spirits high by smiling and engage in a meaningful manner. Throughout the interview, she seemed very bored and unengaged. I decided this was not company for me if this how the person conducting interviews behaved.

Engineer
Had a phone interview with someone from Indiana, who asked basic questions about my background and resume. It was laid back and informative. I asked company questions, and got honest answers. Traylor Bros then flew me to Long Beach for 5 interviews, including one with Michael Traylor. They have a system of questions designed to see how I'd react in different situations. Everyone was great and laid back, making me feel comfortable. We even stretched together in the morning.
- How would you respond if your resume had a spelling error and the interviewer pointed it out, knowing both spellings were correct?
Administrator
I had a meeting with two managers, which was a pretty standard interview. They asked a lot about my past jobs and why I was interested in this specific company. That same day, I met some other people who work here and got a tour of the place. The whole thing took a while but it was good, and I got a sense of what it's like to work there.
- Can you tell me about your past work experiences?
- What makes you want to work for this company?
