Got a call from the recruiter. She talked about the job's qualifications, what's expected, and the salary/benefits. We went over all the company's requirements, including background and financial checks, to make sure everything would be smooth if I got an offer. Then, she sent a win-win assessment. After that, I had a two-hour interview with the GM. It felt like we were both interviewing each other to see if we'd be a good fit and work well together. We discussed the assessment results. Next, I was set up for an interview with the Finance Manager, a Finance Manager Trainee, and the GM. This interview lasted about an hour. We talked about some management scenarios and mostly got a sense of whether the role was a good fit for all of us. The recruiter called me with an offer. They knew I had other offers and handled it well. I've completed the paperwork for the background checks. The official offer letter will arrive by FedEx tomorrow morning. We discussed and set my start date, and planned for the necessary training. The whole thing took 10 days so far.

It was a very thorough process. We walked around the entire unit, and I had question and answering sessions. They reviewed my personality test results to see if I was a good fit. Then there was some basic question and answering about my strengths, weaknesses, and work experience, all while they were reviewing my resume.
