I got contacted by a corporate recruiter about a month after applying for the Recruiting Specialist job at TNAA. The initial recruiter phone screen was pretty thorough and included interview questions. The recruiter was upfront about job expectations and salary. After that, I was told I'd get an online assessment invitation that takes about 2 hours, with math, personality, and judgment questions. It's a lot of work, but I get why they do it to make sure employees are a good fit. Within a week of finishing the assessment, I had a phone interview with a department director. Then, in the same week, I interviewed with another director. During that call, we set up a time to chat with someone currently in the role I applied for (informal). A couple days later, I got an offer. Everyone was really nice and made me feel comfortable. The recruiter was great at communicating, calling and texting me to set up the interviews. The whole process was positive and efficient.

It was a positive and conversational interview, not intimidating at all. I spoke with leadership and other recruiters. I felt the process was honest and they didn't sugarcoat anything, setting clear expectations. Overall, a very positive experience in a professional setting.

First I applied, then I had a chat with the recruiter, followed by the hiring manager, and then a one-hour assessment. I was kept in the loop with constant updates. After the assessment, there was silence for over a month. I followed up twice and didn't hear back until they sent an email saying they decided to go with other candidates.
