First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TransPerfect.
Solution Engineer
It was a pretty long process. First up was a combined behavioral and technical interview. Then, I had an interview with the VP, which was pretty relaxed, more about getting to know each other and the role, not technical at all. After that, there was another chat with the Director, also very informal, like a casual conversation. Finally, I met the team in person before getting the offer or rejection.

Solution Engineer
The interview process had 3 rounds, plus an initial recruiter screening. The final interview was held in the office. The first interview was with the director and boss, the second with a director from a different region, and the last one was with a manager and director. Everything went smoothly and took about 3 weeks.
- Tell me about a time you had to explain a technical problem to someone who wasn't technical.
Solutions Engineer
First, I was contacted by HR for a few personal questions and to discuss my expectations. Following that brief chat, I had three more phone interviews with all the area managers. The final step was a one-on-one interview with one of the managers who came to Dublin specifically to interview me. Even though I got the job offer, the process was quite lengthy, giving my current employer time to present a much better offer that the company couldn't match. Combined with the company's reputation (they're having some legal disputes among the owners), these factors led me to decline the job.
- How would you handle certain types of projects?
- What are your strategies for resolving issues?
