There were quite a number of rounds starting from an initial call, then an assessment, and finally the main interviews. The whole process took a few weeks, and I had to proactively ask for the results. Overall, it was a pretty interactive interview that gave me good insights.

Entrevistas diversas com diferentes equipes da empresa, espalhadas por todos os países onde a TransPerfect tem escritórios. Começou pela Recrutadora Sênior (entrevista remota), que fez a triagem inicial com perguntas mais abrangantes sobre experiência e pretensão salarial. Em seguida, me enviou testes de aptidão para a função. Assim que aprovados, foram marcadas as próximas entrevistas com pares de trabalho na mesma função (entrevista remota), par de trabalho em função diferente (entrevista presencial), supervisora direta (entrevista remota), e outros níveis superiores de hierarquia. O problema foi que, na primeira etapa, houve um engano quanto a moeda da pretensão salarial, o que levou a entrevistas adicionais para realinhar expectativas e experiência. No fim, a compensação apresentada antes de virar uma proposta oficial não era equivalente à discutida nas primeiras etapas e a empresa ficou de retornar caso conseguisse negociar internamente, o que não aconteceu.

The recruiter reached out, and we had a call the next day. They asked about my background and interests. Then, they explained the process: a test, followed by another interview if I passed. I received two tests: one for copy editing (EN>EN) to find typos, and another for QAing EN>SV text. Both were straightforward, requiring careful attention. After passing, I had an interview with usual questions, and that concluded the process.
